A couple of inspiring - and for some, controversial - stories on the wires today.
The first is the story of Henry Rono’s return to competitive running after years battling alcoholism. Rono is best known for breaking 4 separate world records (i.e. in 4 different events) over a period of 81 days in the spring and summer of 1978. Now he’s back, sober for 5 years and looking to return to his world-beating ways.

The second, being reported today in The Indy, is the story of Oscar Pistorius (pictured above), a double amputee and Paralympic Champion who is attempting to be the first disabled runner to gain entry to the able-bodied Olympics in Beijing 2008.
